These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lumaneta, operated by Lumaneta Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Lumaneta or subscribing, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service
Lumaneta provides plain-English tech help through email, phone, SMS, newsletters, guides, and related support experiences. We can help explain options, troubleshoot ordinary technology issues, and suggest next steps, but you remain responsible for your accounts, devices, passwords, purchases, and decisions.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe according to the plan shown at checkout. Prices, features, and availability may change, but changes will not reduce service you already paid for during the current billing period unless required for safety, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Lumaneta, including by:
- Sending passwords, verification codes, banking details, card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information.
- Using Lumaneta for illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, or spam activity.
- Attempting to access systems, accounts, or data that you are not authorized to access.
- Overloading, scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with the service.
4. AI and human support
Lumaneta may use AI tools and human review to draft, improve, or deliver support. AI responses can be wrong or incomplete. You should double-check important decisions, especially anything involving money, health, legal obligations, account access, safety, or security.
5. SMS/text messaging
Lumaneta sends text messages only when you opt in or when you request a specific link or support follow-up by text during a call. By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Lumaneta about tech help, requested links, account updates, and follow-up tips. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP or INFO for help, or email help@lumaneta.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in consent or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. For details, see our SMS Communications page.
6. Communications
You authorize us to contact you by email, phone, SMS where opted in, and other channels you use to contact us. Service-related messages may include support replies, account updates, billing notices, security notices, call recaps, requested links, and newsletters or follow-up tips where permitted.
7. No professional advice
Lumaneta is general technology help. It is not legal, financial, medical, tax, cybersecurity incident response, or emergency advice. For those topics, contact an appropriate professional or emergency service.
8. Termination
You may stop using Lumaneta at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe continued use creates risk, violates these Terms, causes abuse, or is required by law.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Lumaneta is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or losses from relying on support responses.
